Thunder Keeps Rolling Along

May 21, 2012 – Oklahoma City, OK

The Los Angeles Lakers followed the Los Angeles Clippers into the offseason, losing to an energetic and dominant Oklahoma City Thunder, 106-90, in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Russell Westbrook scored 28 points and Kevin Durant scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, overcoming a huge effort by Kobe Bryant, who scored 42 points.

The Thunder led late in the third quarter and never relinquished it, leading by no less than 13 points in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City now takes on a very strong San Antonio Spurs team, fresh off a sweep of the Clippers.

In order to get into the postseason, each time had to work hard in the gym to increase their strength and endurance. Strength to jump and run quickly, endurance to last all four quarters. It would be no surprise if the teams had used Bowflex coupons to get top-notch equipment at a reduced cost, especially for each player’s home gym. That way, they could fit in more workouts, especially during the offseason when they would not be able to access their team’s gym equipment as easily.
